I was listening to talk radio. They were discussing the Government response to covid and the shutdown of schools and colleges. Someone phoned in to say that, ‘They are sacrificing the young to save the old.’ I agree. As an ‘old’, I would rather die than have anybody sacrifice their youth for me.

Have you noticed that those who scream loudest for a new Covid lockdown and more Covid restrictions are always the people whose livelihoods are least affected? I’m talking about the politicians, the pundits, the TV and radio presenters and of course the ‘experts’. They don’t have to worry.
